Laura Eid Hanna

Laura Eid Hanna, of North Brunswick, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Regency Heritage Care Center in Somerset.  She was 58.

Born in Jwar El-Hawz, Lebanon, she came to the United States in 1990. She resided in New Brunswick before moving to North Brunswick 27 years ago.

Laura was a very active parishioner at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic  Church in Somerset.  She loved going to Dunkin Donuts every day and Panera Bread.  She enjoyed traveling and going to different parks and places with her husband Atef. She especially loved spending time with her family and nieces and nephews.

She’s predeceased by her parents Farid and Jeannette (Chamoun) Eid, her brother George Eid and her sister Nada Eid.

Surviving is her loving husband of 27 years, Atef Hanna; her brothers Ghazi Eid (Odile) of Kendall Park, Joseph Eid (Rita) of North Brunswick and Abdallah Eid (Rana) of East Brunswick; her sisters Maguy Tanios (Pierre) of New Brunswick and Noha Mourad (Eid) of Lebanon; and her beloved 3 nieces and 11 nephews.

A Viewing will take place on Wednesday, December 27^th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, Easton Ave & Franklin Blvd, Somerset.  A Funeral Liturgy of the Resurrection will be Thursday, 10:00 am at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Sharbel’s Church.  You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” for Laura at www.crabiel.com.
