Kevin B. Burns, a loyal Grills Riverside Tiki Bar customer, made his last inappropriate comment there on 04/24/2023.
Beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, he is survived by his daughters, 9 grandchildren, and several bartenders he has supported over the years. (Always remember to tip your bartender.)
Kevin owned and operated Strictly Marine in Manasquan, NJ before retiring to Florida. Born in Newark, NJ, and raised in East Brunswick, he graduated from St. Pius X High School in Piscataway, NJ.
He leaves behind a bunch of crap nobody wants, so watch for the estate sale next week.
He said he wanted his remains to be scattered over the river, but did not want to be cremated. We are not sure how to handle his request at this moment, but we will figure something out.
He is predeceased by his mother, Catherine Ann (Brady) Burns (d. 2020) and his brother, William R. Burns, III (d. 1973).
Surviving are his daughters Sandra L. Shade of Wardsville, MO; Judith P. McMurray (Doreen) of Brick; Christina L. Parrott (Jason) of Point Pleasant and Catherine A. Groesch (Michael) of Forked River; his father, William R. Burns of Milltown; his sisters Rosemary Tricarico (Martin) of Piscataway; Catherine Cheely (Jeff) of Marietta, GA and Kristina Melvin (Richard) of Milltown; his grandchildren Molly, Ella, Aurora, and Julie Shade; Taylor Owens, Kaylin and Rylan Parrott, Maximilian and Alexander Groesch, and his nieces and nephews.
