North Brunswick

Kenneth C. Schwarz, of North Brunswick, passed away September 17, 2025, one month before his 89th birthday. He was 88 years old.

Born and raised in Milltown to Charles Schwarz and Marie Schwarz on October 17th, 1936.

After marrying his school sweetheart, Helen Schwarz, they lived most of their lives in North Brunswick. They had four Children and once they were on their own, Ken and Helen moved to Santee, SC for 20 years before coming back to North Brunswick.

Ken was a family man who loved helping everyone he could, camping with the family and his extended family, visits to Nashville, Tennessee and old cars, especially his 53 Pontiac Convertible. He was a well known Carpenter/home improvement man who owned his own business after he had worked with various builders throughout his career. He also loved building things for the family and for their home.

He was a big thinker. Always trying to find ways to help or fix things. No matter big or small, he would try to figure ways to fix them.

He is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Marie Schwarz, his eldest daughter Debra (Schwarz) Sakowicz, his twin who died at birth and his older brother Carl Schwarz.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Helen Schwarz, his daughters Beverley Schwarz of Florida/North Brunswick, Diana Schnatter of Milltown (husband Wayne), son Kenneth Schwarz of South Brunswick (wife Debbie), his brother Calvin Schwarz of Monroe Township, his grandchildren: Clyde (wife Lori), Jennifer (husband Brad), Kyrstin (fiance’ Jeff) and Kyra, his great grandchildren Anthony, Raegan, Elizabeth and Hayden.
