Katheryn A. Lombardi

Highland Park

Katheryn A. Lombardi, of Highland Park, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 65 years old. Born in Princeton, she lived in Monmouth Junction, before moving to Highland Park 20 years ago.

Kathi was well known around town for her generous heart while pushing her cart around town. She loved all animals, but she had a special place in her heart for cats, especially her 2 cats Donovan O’Malley and Kiernan, who were like her children. She enjoyed feeding the deer around Highland Park.

She was passionate about causes that she believed in and loved classic rock music, especially The Grateful Dead. For years she volunteered at the Thrift Shop and other programs of the Reformed Church, and for the past many years was a real leader at the Highland Park Food Pantry. In 2020, she received the Feeding Middlesex County's Pantry Hunger Hero Award.

She is predeceased by her husband Paul, her father Louis McKay, and her sister Debbie Waite.

Surviving is her mother and step-father, Jane and Lee Tull of Wilmington DE; her brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Dawne McKay of Monmouth Jct., her sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Mike Molitor of Elkton MD, and her brother and sister-in-law Bob and Marcy Tull of Wilmington DE.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 24th, 2:00 pm, at the Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 South 2nd Ave, Highland Park. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
