Karen M. Geipel

March 18, 1950 — September 16, 2023

Karen M. Geipel, of Milltown, touched the lives of many people during her life. She was born in Linden, NJ on March 18, 1950, and sadly, she passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.  She lived in East Brunswick and Edison before moving to Milltown 38 years ago.

Karen was a woman filled with warmth and kindness. She had an incredible capacity to love and care for others, especially her family. Her role as a mother brought her immeasurable joy, and she dedicated herself wholeheartedly to the well-being and happiness of her loved ones.

She worked for Career Management in East Brunswick before retiring.  She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Bartholomew RC Church in East Brunswick.

Karen had a deep passion for dancing and was particularly fond of tap dancing.
She enjoyed traveling to various destinations with her beloved husband Raymond Geipel. One of their favorite places to visit was Atlantic City, where they would spend quality time together creating cherished memories. Another place close to Karen's heart was New Orleans, where she found joy in immersing herself in the city's rich cultural heritage.

She leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold precious memories of their time spent together. Raymond Geipel, Karen's devoted husband, stood by her side through all of life's ups and downs. Their love was a testament to the power of commitment and shared experiences.

In addition to her husband Raymond, Karen is also survived by her son, Eric Geipel, and his wife Corinne of Milltown.; her daughters, Kim Gebhardt of Tampa Florida and Kelly Kenney of Gainsville, Florida; her mother-in-law Joan Geipel of Milltown; and her greatest treasures, her grandchildren Tyler, Carter, Hunter, Wyatt, and Alexis.
