Kantaben P. Patel, of South Plainfield, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at AristaCare at Cedar Oak in South Plainfield. She was 85.
Born in Balasinor, Gujarat, India, she came to the United States in 2001. She resided in Mendham, Parsippany and Paramus before moving to South Plainfield last year.
Mrs. Patel was a loving homemaker. She enjoyed cooking for her family and singing Holy and wedding songs.
She's predeceased by her husband Punambai Patel (d. 1987), and her son Arvind Patel (d. 2003).
Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, Ashok and Bindu Patel of Brampton, Canada; her daughter and son-in-law, Varsha and Dipak Patel of Mendham, NJ; her daughter-in-law Usha Patel of Parsippany, NJ; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Pooja services will be Monday, July 2nd, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Franklin Memorial Park, Cozzens Lane & Rt. 27, North Brunswick. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the condolence "guestbook" for the family at www.crabiel.com
