Kantaben Darji

Kantaben Darji, of Elizabeth, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at University Hospital in Newark. She was 94 years old. Born in Gujarat, India, she came to the United States in 2000.

Kantaben enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.

She is predeceased by her husband Ratilal Darji (d. 1993), and her son Lalit Darji.

Surviving are her sons Rajendra R. Darji (Jyotsna) of Elizabeth, Dinesh Darji (Raksha) of Edison, Viond Darji (Lata) of Edison and Pradip Darji (Hema) of Raleigh NC; her daughter-in-law Usha L. Darji of India; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Pooja services will be held on Wednesday, October 15th, from 9:30 am – 11:30 am at Franklin Memorial Park, Cozzens Lane and Rt. 27, North Brunswick.
