Juliana Ripp, a Holocaust survivor, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021 at her home in Pine Brook, NJ. She was 93.
Born in Kac Yugoslavia, she met her husband Martin, after they both were freed from the Holocaust. They married in 1945 and moved to Israel before coming to the United States in 1951. They resided in Maspeth NY, Flushing NY and eventually moved to Springfield, NJ in 1964. After Martin passed away in 1986, Juliana moved to Pine Brook, NJ.
Juliana was a hostess for the restaurant at Bloomingdale's in Short Hills, retiring in 1990. She loved music and dancing. Most of all, she loved being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching them all proceed in life.
She's predeceased by her husband Martin Ripp (d. 1986) and her parents Philip and Elza (Silzer) Komlos.
Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Flora Ripp of Pine Brook, her daughter Mira Kutenplon of Manalapan, her 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
