d. August 20, 2025

Milltown

Judith McCabe, née Kolibas, a loving wife, devoted mother and daughter, loyal sister, caring aunt, and cherishingly empathetic friend, was born on April 29, 1977, along with her twin brother in Brooklyn, NY. She passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025, leaving behind a profound legacy of love and warmth that will forever resonate within the hearts of those she touched.

Judith dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse and medical professional, a role that reflected her deep compassion and unwavering friendliness to all those she cared for or worked with. Her extraordinary ability to connect with those around her was mirrored in her personal life, where she relished the time spent with her husband, Scott McCabe, and their beloved children, Elizabeth and Warden. Known for her loving and gregarious nature, Judith's presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.

A graduate of Immaculata High School in 1995, Judith carried the values of hard work and dedication into every facet of her life. She shared countless unforgettable moments with her close-knit siblings on the streets of Middlesex, NJ and later on vacations or at family dinners, always putting their needs first. Judith was not just a mother or a wife; she was the heart of her family, embodying a spirit that made each gathering special and filled with laughter. As an animal lover throughout her life, Judy had countless furry friends that she cared for and fussed over.

She is survived by her steadfast husband, Scott, who was her partner through life’s journey, and her two adoring children, Elizabeth and Warden, who were her pride and joy, as well as her dog, Lincoln, who loved his human mommy. Judith is also survived by her sister, Jennifer Horne (James) of Dunellen, and her brothers, Greg Kolibas (Amy) of Middlesex, and Glen Kolibas (Janelle) of Bridgewater as well as many adored nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She leaves behind her father, Ronald Kolibas of Middlesex, who will remember his daughter’s loving soul fondly. Judith's mother, Elizabeth Kolibas, preceded her in death in 2014, and together they share a bond that transcends all.

Judith’s visitation will be held on August 26, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Crabiel Home For Funerals in Milltown, NJ. On Wednesday August 27, Funeral Service will be held at 10:00am at the funeral home. Family, friends, and all who were touched by her remarkable spirit are invited to join in celebrating the life of this extraordinary woman who embodied love and dedication.

Judith McCabe’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, as they carry forward her light, love, and the memories made during their precious time together. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
