Judith W. Brodman, of Monroe Twp., passed away Sunday, April 09, 2017 at The Elms in Cranbury. She was 83. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Bayonne and East Brunswick before moving to Monroe Twp. 22 years ago.

Mrs. Brodman taught in Old Bridge for 28 years, in both kindergarten and as a reading specialist. She was a graduate of New Jersey College for Women, which would later become Douglass College and received her Masters in Education from Kean University.

Judy was a member of the East Brunswick Jewish Center, the Jewish Federation, Hadassah and ORT and received the Leadership Award from both the Jewish Federation and Hadassah.

She is predeceased by her husband Saul H. Brodman (d. 2015), her son Steven Brodman (d. 2006), and her brother Sheldon Witt. Surviving is her son Alan Brodman of East Brunswick and her grandson Griffin Brodman of Jersey City, NJ

Services will be 10:00 am, today (Monday), at East Brunswick Jewish Center, 511 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. Interment will follow at Beth Abraham Cemetery in East Brunswick. Donations may be made in Judy's name to the East Brunswick Education Foundation in the name of the AP IPLE team.
