Joy M. Liali, formerly of Asbury Park, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at the age of 62. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Oceanport and Red Bank before moving to Milltown recently.
Joy loved seeing her grandchildren more than anything and was known for her good heart. Joy may have struggled in her life, but was always happy whenever she was with her daughters and grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her parents Samuel and Julia (Cubero) Haddix and her late brother Samuel Haddix Jr.
Joy is survived by her daughter Jennifer Stanzione and her husband Mike of Milltown; her daughter Christina Liali of Long Branch; her beloved grandchildren Oliva Urban, Michael McGowan III, and Emma Stanzione; her sisters Patty Janicello and her husband Joseph, of East Meadow, NY, and Blanche Martinez of Brooklyn; her brother Anthony Haddix, and his wife Elba of Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will take place on Wednesday, May 29th, from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St. – at Riva Avenue, Milltown NJ. You may sign the online obituary "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com.
