John "Jack" Hammill passed away on December 14th, 2022, at the age of 55. Born to John and Hannah, Jack grew up in Highland Park, NJ. After High School he pursued a career as a Corrections Officer with the Middlesex County Corrections Center.
Jack was a motorcycle enthusiast; he was a past President and member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club NJ Chapter 3. He loved bowling, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Some of his favorite places to visit friends and spend time, included Maine and upstate New York. He sported many tattoos and loved heavy metal but he was known for his kind heart and gentle soul, lovingly referred to by the kids as "Uncle Wookie".
Jack is survived by his brothers Brian Hammill of North Brunswick, Thomas Hammill of North Brunswick, and his wife Ellen. Ex-wife Jennifer Hammill of North Brunswick, Niece Caitlyn and Nephew Justin Hammill, and Stepdaughter Victoria Gallino and her husband Corey. There will be visitation on December 20th, 2022, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, with a service at 7:30pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals. 170 N. Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ 08850.
