Joan Perricone

Joan Perricone, of Piscataway, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at home. She was 91 years old. Born in Linden, she has lived in Piscataway for the past 67 years.

She was a bookkeeper for 30 years, for Hoffman Equipment in Piscataway, retiring in 2004. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Fatima RC Church in Piscataway.

Joan enjoyed traveling, especially to St. Maartin, and was an avid gardner. She loved being with her family and friends.

She is predeceased by her husband James Perricone (d. 1995), her brother Robert McMullen, and her sisters Eleanor Cree, Delores San Fillipo and Geraldine Keimer.

Surviving are her children James Perricone (Boyd Hunnaman) of Watchung, and Laura Brown (Wayne Leviner) of Milford NJ; her grandchildren, James Brown (Amanda) of Bangor PA, and Cassidy Brown of Mays Landing NJ; and her great granddaughter Emma Joan Brown.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 21st, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway. A Blessing will be held 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway.
