Joan Hermsen passed away peacefully on Monday, July 6th 2020 at the Menlo Park Veterans Home in Edison. She was 89. Born in New Brunswick, she lived most of her life in Edison and Orlando, FL.
She enjoyed music and dancing, gardening, sewing and playing Scrabble.
Joan was a loving mother of six children and five grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband John Hermsen, son Alan Dunbar (d. 2018) and daughter Cynthia Brabrook (d. 2004).
She is survived by her children Kate Dunbar of Milltown, Susan Dunbar of Atlanta GA, Nancy Britt of Sarasota FL and Kelley Kroeckel of East Windsor NJ and her sister Evelyn Tierce of Orlando FL.
