Jitendra Desai

Jitendra M. Desai, of Piscataway, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at home. He was 75 years old. Born in Karamsad, Gujarat, India, he lived in Nadiad before moving to Piscataway several years ago.

While living in India, Jitendra was a farmer and a caring social worker. He enjoyed gardening and traveling. He loved helping people through social services. He and his family are very spiritual and devoted to the services at the Gayatri Chetna Center in Piscataway.

He’s predeceased by his wife Jyoti J. Desai (d. 2002).

Surviving is his loving son and daughter-in-law Parth and Sapna Desai of Piscataway and his beloved grandchildren Atharv and Hansini Desai.

A Pooja service will be held on Saturday, December 28th, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 Rt. 27 & Cozzens Lane in North Brunswick.
