Jilan Liu passed away Monday, January 11, 2021 at Merwick Care Center in Plainsboro. She was 85.
Born in Lilin, Hunan, China, she came to the United States in 2004. She resided in Westfield before moving to Plainsboro four years ago.
While living in China, Jilan was an engineer. She had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed collecting stamps.
She's predeceased by her husband Huansheng Chen (d. 2001).
Surviving is her son Weimin Chen of China, her daughters Yuetian Chen of Westfield and Shulei Chen of China; her sisters Youlan and Bailan Liu, both of China; and her grandsons Max Shin and Yichen Li.
