Jeffrey J. Rappeport, of Monmouth Junction, passed away Friday, January 22nd, 2021.
Jeffrey Rappeport, born in Brooklyn, lived a full 65 years; he has spent many years in Franklin Park, NJ and ultimately raised his family and retired in Monmouth Junction, NJ. Jeffrey enjoyed many fulfilling years as the President of General American Shippers based in Manhattan and dedicated his leisure time cheering on the Mets as a season ticket holder for forty-one years.
One of his proudest moments was winning the prestigious Parent of the Year Award in 1997 from Kingston Elementary School. Jeffrey was happiest planning spontaneous road trips and going to the race track with his father and father-in-law. He loved nothing more than being with his ever-growing family, especially with the newest addition to the Rappeport team, his beautiful granddaughter, Elaina.
He's predeceased by his dad Alfred and sister Janet Rodrigues.
Surviving is his wife Frieda Rappeport; his children Rachel-Isabel, Jerry, David and Lizzie. His Mother Gloria Rappeport; Sisters Betty Raimondo, Susie Lesowitz, Ruthie Parascandolo, Rozy Martinez, Letty Almedina. and Brother Jerry Rappeport,
Funeral Service will take place Thursday January 28th at 11:30AM at The Crabiel Home For Funerals located 170 N. Main Street-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ . Burial will take place at Floral Park Cemetery, South Brunswick..
