Jean G. Gordon, of Highland Park, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2022, at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Highland Park most of her life.
Jean was a member of the Highland Park Conservative Temple and the Sisterhood. She enjoyed doing needlework, crocheting, knitting and playing Scrabble. She loved baking and cooking for her family.
She's predeceased by her husband Samuel Gordon (d. 2004), her parents Sam and Pauline (Zelvinsky) Potsheba, her brother Milton Page and her sister Eunice Rubinstein.
Surviving is her son Frederic (Faye) Gordon of Springfield, her daughters Melinda (Raymond) Scaletti of Edison, Bonnie Gordon (Mihlee Robinson) of Highland Park, and Melanie (Marc) Blatteis of East Brunswick; and her grandchildren Jeffrey (Victoria) Gordon, Jenna (Michael) Signore, Renee Scaletti, and Jared, Shelby and Molly Blatteis.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 10th, 11:00 am, at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge. Contributions may be made in Jean's name to Accent Hospice & Palliative Care of NJ, 2147 Route 27, Suite 101, Edison, NJ 08817.
