James Sidoliza, formerly of Piscataway, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2024, at JFK Hospital in Edison. He was 82. Born in Makassar Indonesia, he came to the United States over 30 years ago. He lived in Piscataway before moving to Plainfield a few years ago.
He was a world traveler working on freight ships. He was well-versed in different languages, including Spanish and Chinese.
James was a parishioner of the Reformed Church of Highland Park. He was well known for his blue Corvette. He enjoyed walking and going to Coco Indonesian Restaurant in Edison. He loved being with family and friends back in Indonesia.
Surviving is his son Pami Andry Sidoliza of Edison; his siblings Gatot, Tommy, Mary and Wempi, all of Indonesia; and his family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 6th, 4:00 pm, at The Reformed Church of Highland Park, 19 South 2nd Avenue, Highland Park. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
