Jado Ram Goel, of Marlboro, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at AristacareNursing Home in South Plainfield. He was one day shy of his 82nd birthday.
Mr. Goel was born in Shamli, India, and lived in New Delhi for several decades before moving to the United States in 1991. He resided in Marlboro for over 20 years.
He received his Masters in Commerce from University of Meerut, India. Before retiring in 1990, he was a bank manager for the State Bank of India in New Delhi.
Mr. Goel enjoyed gardening, making gulab jamun for the grandkids, and fixing everything around the house. He was a very caring, gentle, and affectionate person. He dedicated his life to others and was always ready to help anyone in need, all the while entertaining everyone with his dry sense of humor. His favorite meal was dessert but always in utmost moderation.
He's predeceased by his daughter Sonia Kanitkar (d. 4/12/2021).
Surviving him is his beloved wife, Kailash K. Goel; his son Sanjay in CA; his daughter Dr. Sangeeta Agarwal in NJ; his brothers Mohan Lal Gupta and Bhagwan Das Gupta, in Shamli, India; and 7 grandchildren.
