Irene F. Palenycky

Irene F. Palenycky, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Community Medical Center in Toms River. She was 90.
Born in Regensburg, Germany, she came to the United States in the 1940's. She resided in Somerset before moving to Toms River 17 years ago.
Irene worked in the payroll department for NJ Transit in the Maplewood and Newark offices. She also was a crossing guard in Irvington.
She enjoyed singing with a German singing group and sewing clothes.
Irene is predeceased by her son-in-law Angelo Ioannides.
Surviving are her daughters, Iris Casserly, and her husband Bill, of Monroe Twp., and Linda Ioannides of Fords; 6 grandchidren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, March 15th, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to No Kid Hungry, www.nokidhungry.org . You may sign the online condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
