Indravadan C. Patel, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away Friday, October 8, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ at the age of 76.
Born in Bhadran, India, he grew up in Sojitra, and came to the United States in 1972. He resided in New Jersey, Cincinnati and Tampa before moving to Jacksonville, Florida in 2012. Indravadan worked in pharmacy and healthcare for his entire career, retiring in 2012.
Indravadan enjoyed watching sports, especially football, baseball and basketball. He also enjoyed traveling with family and longtime friends he grew up with.
His family was his world and he always put his family first.
He is predeceased by his parents, Chimanbhai and Kantaben Patel; his brother Naginbhai Patel, and his sisters Sulochanaben and Tarlaben Patel.
Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Pragna Patel; his son Samir (Jessica) Patel of Beaver, PA; his brothers Bhupendra (Leena) Patel of Piscataway, NJ and Rajandra (Dina) Patel of Savannah, GA; his sister Kokilaben (Rameshlal) Patel of Lowell, MA; and his brother-in-laws Parimal (Hemlata) Patel of Florida and Bhavesh (Kalpana) Patel of Virginia.
Pooja services will be held on Tuesday, October 12th, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Franklin Memorial Park Crematory, Cozzens Lane & Rt. 27, North Brunswick.
