Helen Stolte

d. January 22, 2026

Helen Stolte, born on December 19, 1930, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever resonate within the hearts of her family and friends.

She loved her home on Janet Ct. in Milltown where she spent 52 years of her life and built so many friendships during that time. As an Assistant Court Clerk with Franklin Township, Helen's dedication to her career was only rivaled by her immense love for her family and her faith. She was a long time communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church. There she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society, the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and the Circle of Prayer. Throughout her life, she embraced every moment with grace, kindness, and a spirited enthusiasm that brightened the lives of those around her. A passionate supporter of the New York Giants and Rutgers sports, Helen found joy in sharing her love for sports with her family, fostering memorable moments that will be remembered fondly.

Helen was more than just a sports fan; she had a zest for life that included attending performances at the Metropolitan Opera, playing cards, bowling, golfing, reading, and gardening. She was an avid bridge player and known to be a hard bidder. She often spent warm summer days at the Jersey Shore, relishing the sun, sand, and surf with her beloved family, who brought her boundless joy.

She is survived by her loving family, which includes her sons: Vernon and his wife Diane of Geneva, IL; Arthur and his wife Deborah of Stevensville, MI; and Karl and his wife Kate of Barnegat, NJ. Helen’s spirit lives on through her grandchildren, Michael and his wife Nicole, John, Kidron, Sarah, Lizzie, Riley, and Sean, as well as her great-grandchildren, Henry and Jackson. The bonds they shared with her will forever be treasured, a testament to how deeply she loved them.

Helen joins her late husband, Armand Stolte, who passed away in 2017 in eternal rest. The impact of her love, strength, and unwavering support will undoubtedly be felt by all who knew her, especially during the two days of memorial services planned to honor her remarkable life.

Visitation will be held on January 30, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Crabiel Home For Funerals in Milltown, NJ. A Mass celebrating her life will take place the following day, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, also in Milltown. Entombment will be at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick, NJ, following a heartfelt gathering of family and friends.

As we remember Helen Stolte, let us hold dear the spirit of a woman who was passionate about her interests, devoted to her family, and whose love enveloped all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be greatly missed, but her memory will continue to inspire laughter, love, and togetherness for generations to come.
