Geraldine P. Butterfield (nee Anzalone), of East Brunswick, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, at home. She was 65.
Born in Newark, she lived in Milltown and Edison, before moving to East Brunswick in 1989.
Geraldine proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Before retiring she worked for Citi Streets in East Brunswick. She loved reading, dragons and unicorns. But most of all she cherished her 9 grandchildren.
She's predeceased by her husband George W. Butterfield III (d. 2010).
Surviving are her 4 sons: Chuck McQueen of East Brunswick, George W. Butterfield IV of Parlin, Joseph Butterfield of Morganville, and Thomas Butterfield of North Carolina; and her grandchildren Charlie, Dylan, Tony, Dominick, Lilith, Xavis, Chris, Damien, and Jadyn; her life long best friends and in-laws Thomas Ryan, Kathy Wink, Patrick Butterfield, Keith Butterfield, and Annie Sebastian.
A Mass will be held on Friday, February 23rd, 10:30 am, at St. Ambrose RC Church, 83 Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge. Friends and relatives may call on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home For Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.
