Geraldine C. Alekseyev

Geraldine C. Alekseyev, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, of Milltown, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Hackensack Raritan Bay Hospital in Old Bridge. She was 87 years old. Born at home in East Brunswick, by a midwife, she lived in Milltown all of her life.

She worked for Lenox in Cranbury for several years before retiring. She was a parishioner of St.Paul’s Church in Milltown.

Gerry loved cooking for her family. She was an avid shopper with QVC and enjoyed crocheting and needlepoint.

She is predeceased by her husband Leonid Alekseyev (d. 2018) and her parents Henry and Geraldine (Graulich) Frish.

Surviving is her son Leonard Alekseyev of Milltown, and her triplets Jody Alekseyev (Antonette) of Sayreville, Jennifer Buchko (Gary) of Edison, and Jamie Alekseyev (Heather) of Milltown; and her beloved grandchildren Andee and Kaitlynn Buchko, and Cora, Aidyn and Ashten Poandl.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, January 29th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 30th, 11:00 am, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick.
