Georgette Soueid - Khater
February 18, 1945 — July 24, 2019
Georgette Soueid-Khater passed asway Wednesday, July 24th, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 74. Born in Taalabaya Lebanon, she came to the United States in 1991 and resided in North Brunswick.
Georgette was an elementary school teacher in Lebanon. When she came to the United States, she became the head cook at Tata's Pizza in New Brunswick.
Her passion was helping people in need. She also enjoyed watching Tele Lumiere TV. Her favorite places to go to were St. Sharbel's Church and Taalabaya, Lebanon.
She is preceded by her late husband Edgar Khater, her brothers Elias Soueid and Antoine Soueid and her sister Olympia.
She is survived by her brothers John Soueid of North Brunswick and George Soueid of Lebanon; her sisters Berta Machalany of Milltown and Antoinette Tabachri of North Brunswick; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives my call on Sunday 7/28/19 from 4:00 - 8:00pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main St – at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10:00 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, Easton Ave and Reeves St., Somerset. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
