Georges W. Moukarzel, of New Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2020. He was 50.
Born in Freike, Lebanon, he came to the United States in 1992. He lived in Somerset before moving to East Brunswick.
Georges a partner of Victory Cab in New Brunswick, since 1995. He was a workaholic who enjoyed nice things. Good food, good friends, fashion, politics, and a special heart for Lebanon, were his motto! He was a parishioner of St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Somerset.
Surviving is his children, Anthony and Angie, and their mother Hilda Utria of East Brunswick; his mother Regina (Ashkar) Moukarzel of Lebanon; his brother and sister Anis and Natalie Moukarzel, both of Lebanon, Roger Gerges and family, and Hatim Eid and family.
Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, June 14th, from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Mass will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Somerset. Burial will be private on Monday at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Through the Sharing Network Donation Program, Georges spirit will live on in the many lives he will touch through organ and tissue donation.
