Geoffrey Floyd

Geoffrey M. Floyd, of New Brunswick, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Raritan Bay Hackensack in Old Bridge. He was 79 years old. Born in Newark and raised in Denville, he has lived in the Rutgers Village section of New Brunswick for the past 30 years.

Geoff was a CPA and owned Floyd and Seils Accounting in Somerville. He most recently worked for Crabiel Inc in Milltown as an accountant and bookkeeper. He received his BA from Monmouth University and his Master's from Farleigh Dickinson University.

Geoff was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 25 in Milltown and the Somerville Elks B.P.O.E. #1068. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed going to his Ocean Beach home and traveling throughout the US, Canada and Europe.

He is predeceased by his parents Robert E. and Marjorie (Mugan) Floyd.

Surviving is his loving wife of 43 years, Joan (Thomas) Floyd, his sisters Patricia Floyd Mahony of Fayetteville, NY and Tracey Floyd Willard of Rochester, NY and many nieces and nephews.

A Life Celebration Memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 9th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, September 10th at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown.
