Fred Abraham, of Washington Borough, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Warren. He was 70 years old. Born in Tripoli Lebanon, he came to the United States in 1957. He was raised in Freehold, where he resided most of his life, before moving to Washington 30 years ago.

He was a farm manager for Miller Farm in Washington, before retiring. Previously, he had worked for Cablevision.

Fred enjoyed having a good cigar and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. An animal lover, he volunteered for the Animal Rescue in Washington. He enjoyed going on long walks with his beloved dog Letty.

He is predeceased by his parents, Michael and Marie (Sacceen) Abraham, his sister Faith Abraham and his longtime companion Melinda Miller.

Surviving are his daughter Amy Lavender and his son Jeffrey Abraham, both of Florida, his brothers Joseph Abraham (JoAnn) of Milltown and William Abraham of Colorado, his sister Sandy Nicholson of Washington state, Melinda’s children Adam Miller and Eve Bodine, both of Washington Borough, several nieces and nephews, and his loving dog Letty.

A Private Graveside service will be held at Old Tennent Cemetery in Manalapan. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
