Frances Maltese, of North Brunswick, passed away Thursday, March 08, 2018 at Brandywine Senior Living Center in Princeton. She was 104 years old.
Frances was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in East Rutherford a short time before moving with her parents and siblings to New Brunswick. In the early-1950s Frances moved to North Brunswick where she lived before moving to Brandywine Senior Living Center in August of last year.
She was a dress designer in the New York City garment district and during World War II Frances worked in the defense industry making components for combat aircraft. Most recently, she was employed at the Middlesex County Corrections Facility in North Brunswick.
Frances is predeceased by her parents Nicola and Rosa (Falcetta) Maltese; her brothers Anthony, John, Phillip, and Nicholas Maltese; and her sisters Rose Raczkowski and Malta Recine. Surviving are her brothers Frank Maltese of North Brunswick and Joseph Maltese of Flemington, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on April 04 at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N. Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Burial of her cremated remains will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in New Brunswick. You may sign the online "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com .
