Evarista Castro

Evarista "Eva" Castro, of North Brunswick, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 96. Born in Chorrera, Panama, she came to the United States in 1959. She resided in NYC, Brooklyn and Bloomfield before moving to North Brunswick.
Eva was a seamstress for Ruffolo Men's Clothing in Brooklyn, before retiring in 1984. In addition to sewing she also enjoyed photography and gardening.
Surviving are her daughters and son-in-laws: Renee and Joseph Tasca of North Brunswick, and Irma and Nelson Perez of Bloomfield; her son and daughter-in-law Dr. Roy R. and Maria L. Reyes of Pensacola, FL; her seven grandchildren: Alanna Capriglione, Lizette Brown, Daviel Perez, James Reyes, Roy Reyes, Jr., Dan Reyes and Alan Reyes; and four great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call on Monday, January 7th, from 5:00 – 9:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Memorial Blessing will be held during that time at 7:00 pm. You may sign the online obituary "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
