Ethel Varinecz

Ethel Varinecz, of East Windsor, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. She was 93 years old.

Born in East Brunswick, she was raised in Milltown, where she resided for years before moving to East Windsor in 1983. Ethel worked for Personal Products (Johnson & Johnson) in Milltown, retiring after 43 years.

Ethel was a parishioner of St. Paul’s Church in Milltown. She enjoyed spending time gardening, everything from flowers, plants, vegetables, and trees, and also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors.

She’s predeceased by her daughter Lisa Varinecz (d. 2025), her parents Joseph and Esther (Antal) Tarjanyi, her brothers Joseph Tarjani and Robert Taryani, and her sisters Helen Golubov and Vera Baier.

Surviving is her companion, Edward Leonard, and his family, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. She loved celebrating milestones with her family.
