Elie Yammine, of Windsor, NJ, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 63. He was born and raised in Beit Chebab El Meten, Lebanon.
The middle child of six children, Elie immigrated to the United States with his family in 1989. He left everything else behind in Lebanon and started over the USA, succeeding when everyone thought success wasn’t achievable.
Elie started his jewelry business, Belle Jewelry in South Brunswick, NJ in 1991. He loved his job. He also was a Gemologist as well as an exceptional diamond setter. He created beautiful handmade jewelry pieces. Elie, over the years has built a strong, loving relationship with his customers making everyone who comes to Belle Jewelry feel special. He always brought solutions to the most complex situations.
He met Randa (Hikri) Yammine, the love of his life, at a Saint Maroon's party. Together they had three beautiful daughters, Celine, Claire and Sandra. Elie was an amazing father who never failed to guide his daughters to success. He always would sacrifice his life for his daughters.
Of all the qualities that Elie had, being a father and a husband was where he was shining the most. Randa, his wife and Celine, Claire, and Sandra his daughters were always enveloped in a blanket of love, affection, and attention. Elie never faulted to take care of his mother, Claire and his father, Michel all the while being a great brother to his late sister Hanaa, his sisters Leila and Marleine, as well as his brothers Issa and Samir.
Elie loved life so much that he always planned trips with family and friends to practice his hobbies of fishing and being by the sea, despite his previous injury that never stopped him from enjoying whatever he wanted to do. He loved his dog Rocky and listening to songs from Melhem Barakat. He was a parishioner of St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Franklin Twp.
Elie is the personification of what a gentleman should be. Caring, generous, authentic, strong, honest, kind, and no matter what the circumstances were he always kept calm and the smile never left his face.
