Eleanor Berkowitz, of Somerset, passed away Wednesday May 13th, 2020 at Willow Creek in Somerset. She was 97.
Born in New York, she lived in Teaneck before moving to Somerset 15 years ago.
Eleanor loved many activities including playing cards (Duplicate Bridge) and reading.
She's predeceased by her husband Irving Berkowitz, her son Michael Paul, her son-in-law Michael Zolotorow and grandson Craig Zolotorow.
Surviving are her daughters: Sheryl Aymes, and her husband Steven of North Brunswick, Barbara Aveta, and her husband Tony of Virginia, and Phyllis Zolotorow of Baltimore; her brothers Walter and Martin Haberman; her grandchildren Lisa and Bruce, Andrea and Brad, Sara, Stephanie, Elizabeth and David, and Johnathan; and her great grandchildren Jake and Zoey.
Services are private. Burial of cremated cremains will take place at a later date at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the online obituary condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
