Eileen R. Marko

Eileen R. Marko, of South River, tragically passed away on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. She was 73.  Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Old Bridge, East Brunswick, and Spotswood, before moving to South River 24 years ago.

She worked for Superior Signal in Old Bridge for many years.  In her spare time, Eileen loved to play pool and has been a part of the APA Pool League since 1997.  She also enjoyed going to Parx Casino in Pennsylvania.

She’s predeceased by her husband Dennis Marko (d. 1998), her parents Frank and Dorothy (DeGroff) Boehm, and her siblings Cookie Conklin, Daniel Boehm, Cathy Kammerer, and Wayne Boehm.

Surviving is her daughter Tammy Orr (Michael) of   Spotswood, her sons Dennis Marko (Dawn) of Monmouth Junction and  David Marko (Eboni Cunningham) of South River; her grandchildren Bryan Goodman and Marissa Orr, her great-grandchildren Antonio and Julianna Goodman, her sister in law Helena Marko of Milltown, many nieces and nephews and her devoted dog Roxy.

A Gathering will be held for family and friends on Thursday, May 9th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown 08850.  A Memorial Service will be held during the visitation at 6:30 pm.  Burial of the Urn will be held Friday, 10:00 am, at Van Liew Cemetery, North Brunswick.  You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
