Edward H. Rosen

Edward H. Rosen, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Delray Medical Center in Florida. He was 88 years old. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he met and married Phyllis (blessed be her memory), the love of his life, in Queens. He lived in the Kendall Park section of South Brunswick, Delray Beach and Monroe Township.

Ed and Phyllis owned ERA Cross County Realty in South Brunswick for many years. He was a founding member of Congregation B’nai Tikvah in South Brunswick. He was also a member of the South Brunswick Lions Club.

Ed was always giving of his time and energy. He organized several charitable walks for cancer and helped deliver Meals on Wheels.

Ed was also a lifelong student. He enjoyed auditing college courses, attending seminars and weekly current event discussion groups.

Ed was incredibly active his entire life. He loved going to the gym and taking his daily walks, no matter the weather.

Ed was an enthusiast of the arts. He particulary enjoyed painting. He also appreciated all music (especially classical) and visiting museums of all kinds.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife Phyllis (Kalafer) Rosen (d. 2020), and his parents Abraham William Rosen and Idaline (Laken) Rosen.

Surviving are his daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Rosen and Robert Schwartz, of Fairfax VA, and Ellen and Pierre Boisier of Pleasanton CA; his grandchildren Samantha (Adam) Falcon, Yacov Schwartz and Dr. Elizabeth (Daniel) Farber; and his great granddaughter Charlotte Falcon.
