Edward S. Misiura, of East Brunswick, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at home. He was 90.
Born in Olyphant, PA, he lived in Elizabeth, then Linden before moving to East Brunswick 22 years ago. He served in the United States Air Force from 1949 – 1952. Ed received a B.S. in engineering at Kean University, Union NJ.
Ed retired early from a career as quality control officer for Accurate Bushing Company in Garwood. Then with his wife, they established and ran the Misiura Agency Real Estate office in Linden, NJ.
Ed enjoyed gardening where his favorite crops were tomatoes, figs and grapes. He enjoyed winemaking, beer making, woodworking and wood carving. He was a runner and participated in many marathons until his late 60's.
Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Emilia (Chomczyk) Misiura; his daughters Lydia Misiura of Edison, Rita Ladany of Monroe Twp. and Theresa Lam of East Brunswick; his sons Rik Misiura of NYC and Ray Misiura of Hampton, NJ; his sister Elizabeth Urban of Toms River; 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services with Military Honors will take place o Tuesday, May 3rd, 11:30 am, at Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Park in Wrightstown. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.
