Douglas J. Foley, of North Brunswick, passed away Thursday, Octobe 7, 2021 at home. He was 79. Born and raised in New Brunswick, he's lived in North Brunswick for the past 41 years.
Doug was a fireman and driver with the New Brunswick Fire Department for 32 years, retiring in 2001. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown.
He was a member of the Lenape Rod and Gun and the Brunswick Surf Club. He loved surfing and going to the beach, fishing, hunting and golfing.
He's predeceased by his parents John and Sarah (Snensky) Foley.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 42 years, Barbara (Miklowcic) Foley; his sons John Foley, and his wife Nicole, of Milltown and James Foley of Chugiak, Alaska; his grandson Jackson Douglas Foley; and his sister Madeline Foley of New Brunswick.
Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday, October 12th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, 11:30 am, at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, North Main St., Milltown. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
