Dorothy M. Olesinski, a dedicated secretary for the Milltown School District, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, December 8, 2023. Dorothy's compassionate nature, resilience, and commitment to her community will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dorothy began her career as a secretary for the Milltown School District and faithfully served in this role until her retirement in 2002. Her dedication to her work and unwavering commitment to education touched the lives of countless students and colleagues throughout her career.

Outside of her professional life, Dorothy was actively involved in various community organizations that held a special place in her heart. She was a proud member of the Milltown Democratic Committee for an impressive forty years, where she tirelessly worked towards positive change within her local government. Additionally, she was an esteemed member of the Alter of Rosary at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Milltown, where she found solace through prayer and fellowship. Dorothy's devotion to these organizations demonstrated her deep-rooted passion for making a difference in the lives of others.

Those who knew Dorothy were aware of her zest for life. She enjoyed being an active member of the Milltown Seniors Club and cherished the friendships she formed there. The social interactions and shared experiences brought joy to Dorothy's life, reminding everyone that age is just a number when it comes to living life to its fullest.

In addition to leaving behind a lasting impact on her community, Dorothy's greatest legacy lies within her loving family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Stanley W. Olesinski in 2004 and cherished granddaughter Nicole Olesinski in 1995.

Dorothy is survived by her devoted son Robert Olesinski and his wife Marie, as well as her son William Olesinski. Her son Michael Olesinski and his wife Nancy also mourn the loss of their beloved mother. Dorothy's memory will be forever cherished by her grandchildren Zachary and his wife Krista, Nicholas and his wife Amy, Christine and her husband Sam Carasso, Samuel, and Mathew. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Cade, Chloe, Harper, Jace, Samuel, and Adalyn Jo.

The celebration of Dorothy's life will be held at The Crabiel Home For Funerals located at 170 North Main Street - at Riva Avenue in Milltown, New Jersey on Monday December 11, 2023. A visitation period will take place from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to allow family members, friends, and community members to pay their respects.

On Tuesday, December 12, 2023, a Mass honoring Dorothy's life will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church located at 233 N Main St in Milltown. The Mass will commence at 10:00 AM. Following the Mass, Dorothy will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick.

Dorothy M. Olesinski's legacy is one of love, dedication, and selflessness. Her contributions to education and her community will not be forgotten as her spirit lives on through the memories she leaves behind. We extend our deepest condolences to her family and friends during this difficult time. May she rest in eternal peace.
