Doris Seikaly

Doris Seikaly, of Watchung, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Somerset Woods in Somerset. She was 94.

Born in Palestine, she came to the United States in 1948 and resided in Syracuse, NY. She lived in Lebanon and Athens, Greece, before moving to New Jersey.

Doris was very active in St. Elias Orthodox Church in Syracuse. She was part of St. Elias's church choir and Ladies Auxiliary. She loved reading, music and the beach.

She's predeceased by her husband Edward Seikaly (d. 1970), and her brother Aaron Weinblum.

Surviving is her daughter Christine (Alex) Zeinoun of Watchung, her sons Christopher (Fran) Seikaly and Dan (Renza) Seikaly, both of Detroit, MI; 5 grandchildren – Natalie Zeinoun Benoit, Peter Zeinoun, Davide Seikaly, Tommaso Seikaly and Danielle Seikaly; and her 2 great grandchildren Astrid and Rhylee.

Friends and relatives may come to the visitation on Saturday, October 16th, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ. A Funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, October 17th, 1:00 pm at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, Easton Avenue, Somerset. Burial will be on Monday at Morningside Oakwood Cemetery in Syracuse.
