Doris E. Knelle, of Lavallette, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Holiday Care Center in Toms River. She was 83.
Born in New Brunswick, she lived in Milltown before moving to Lavallette in 1989.
Doris loved tanning on the beach, and especially loved her time and friends at Brightwater Beach. She also enjoyed crocheting.
She's predeceased by her husband Harold S. Knelle (d. 1985) and her son Joseph Reilly (d. 1995).
Surviving are her sons Brian Knelle of Milltown, and Rob, and his wife Erin Knelle of Dayton; her daughters Doris Reilly of Nevada and Tracey Hart of Milltown; her brother Mickey Varga of Milltown; her sister Maryanne Toto of Somerset; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends and relatives may call on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, with a Memorial Blessing at 6:30 pm. You may sign the online "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
