Dilip Solanki, of Parlin, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Perth Amboy Hackensack Meridian Hospital. He was 66. Born in Mumbai India, he lived in Antwerp Belgium, Hackensack and Lodi, before moving to Parlin 30 years ago.
He was a diamond trader and owned Dharmesh Inc. for 32 years, before retiring. He enjoyed swimming and walking and was very active.
Dilip was a wonderful family man. He cared a lot for his siblings in India. He was an extremely supportive husband and loved his grandchildren and spending time with them.
He was predeceased by his parents Bhagwanjibhai K. and Dhirajben B. Mistry.
Surviving is his beloved wife Nayana (Jetwa) Solanki; his son Hiren Solanki (Dharini Parmar) of New Market Maryland, Dhaval Solanki of Jersey City, and Biren Mistry (Priti) of Warren, his daughter Liza Mistry (Sanjiv Khurana) of Princeton; 9 grandchiildren; his brother Jayesh Mistry and sisters Vandana Gherwada, Hansa Rathod and Parul Mistry, all of India.
Pooja services will take place on Tuesday, June 10th from 10:30 am – 12:00 noon at Somerset Hills Crematory in Basking Ridge. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown NJ 08850. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
