Diane J. Dill, formerly of Milltown, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2022 at The Manor in Freehold. She was 80. Born in Newark, she lived in New Brunswick, Milltown and Coral Springs, Florida before moving back to New Jersey in 2007.
Before retiring Diane was a sales manager for the fine jewelry and cosmetic department at Sears in Coral Springs, FL. Previously she worked for Sears in New Brunswick.
Diane was an avid beach goer who loved to travel to South Florida, Disney World and Las Vegas with her family. She spent her spare time reading and sewing. Cooking with her great grandkids was something she loved to do. She traveled to Atlantic City weekly and you could find her at the Borgata playing slots. She hosted large parties at her home where everyone was invited. Always the best host and if she wasn't hosting, she was a great help to whomever was. Always willing to give a helping hand when needed and offer kind words of encouragement and support. Music and dancing were her favorite and was always dolled up with a fresh coat of pink paint on her nails, her hair done with makeup and jewelry to match. Family was most important to her.
Her favorite childhood memories include her dearest friend, Doris Wilson, who later became her sister-in-law. They enjoyed attending dances together as teenagers and she spent a lot of time with her cousin, Elaine Williams who would be alongside of her everywhere she went.
She's predeceased by her beloved husband Robert L. Dill Sr. (d. 2014), her son Robert L. Dill, Jr. (d. 1983), and her parents John and Dorothy Fieseler.
Surviving is her loving daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Michael Slovinsky of East Brunswick, her granddaughters Denise Soto, and her husband Anthony, of Manalapan and Stephanie Pardo, and her husband Carlos, of Freehold, her great grandchildren Jae, Avianna and Valentina Pardo and Bianca and Xavier Soto; and her brother William Baker of Macclenny, Florida.
