Deborah M. Koch, a beloved member of the Rutgers University community for over thirty years, has left a profound impact on all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She passed away on April 7, 2024, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever be treasured by her family and friends.
Born on November 4, 1953, Deborah was a proud alumna of New Brunswick High School, showcasing her commitment to education and personal growth from a young age. Her professional journey led her to Rutgers University, where she served as an Administration Assistant. Her dedication and hard work were evident in everything she did, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues.
Beyond her professional life, Deborah's true joy stemmed from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she adored dearly. Known for her love of painting, enjoying music, and relishing trips to the Jersey shore with her loved ones. Deborah embraced life's simple pleasures and found happiness in these moments.
In the hearts of those who survive her, Deborah leaves a legacy of love and kindness. She is survived by her daughter Andrea Giordano and son-in-law Joseph of Tinton Falls, along with her grandchildren Dylan and Beau Giordano. Her sister Arlene Buckley of North Brunswick and brother William Koch Jr. (wife Christine) of Milltown will forever hold dear memories of their beloved sister.
Deborah also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who were touched by her warmth and wisdom. Her presence and smile enriched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
A visitation in memory of Deborah M. Koch will be held on April 11, 2024, at The Crabiel Home For Funerals in Milltown from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Mass to honor her life will take place on April 12, 2024, at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown at 10:00 AM. These services aim to celebrate a life well-lived and pay tribute to a woman who touched so many hearts.
Deborah's unwavering love for her family and friends will linger on as a guiding light for those she leaves behind.
