David Shutt, of North Brunswick and Milltown, was embraced in God's Loving Arms, on Monday, February 26, 2018. He was 57.
David worked for the North Brunswick Board of Education as a night shift leader at North Brunswick High School, and head custodian at John Adams School. Students at John Adams will remember how David sang to them at lunch time.
David enjoyed riding his motorcycle, Milltown 4th of July, and Christmas with family and friends. His friends he considered family too! David enjoyed summertime, especially swimming in the pools, bonfires and naps on his days off.
He is predeceased by his father, Daniel Shutt Sr. (d. 2006), and his sister Mary Teachen (d. 2001).
David is survived by his mother Gertrude (Rodriquez) Shutt of North Brunswick; his son David Shutt of Piscataway; his brother Daniel Shutt Jr. of North Brunswick; his sister Diane Shutt of Salisbury, PA; his nephews Brandon Rottman and John Milano; his nieces Daniella Vizthum, Gabriella Pelczar, Jodie Scism and Caroline Shutt, Elizabeth Williams and Samantha Greenstein; and several great nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his besties Mary Cottrell Fasano, Sara and Corey Fasano, Angel Santiago and his North Brunswick and Milltown families.
David especially appreciated all the cards the children from school made for him. The cards touched David's heart and was a huge source of happiness and put a smile on his face. With gratitude, you are all thanked.
Friends and relatives may call on Saturday, March 3rd, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Blessing will be held during the visitation at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Milltown Rescue Squad, POB 308, Milltown.
