David M. Karbane

 

David M. Karbane, formerly of Somerset, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Delray Beach Florida.  He was 83.  Born and raised in New York City, he lived in Rockaway, Montville and Somerset NJ before moving to Lake Worth Florida 6 years ago.

 

Before retiring in 2004, he was a real estate appraiser and owned DK Real Estate Appraisal in Parsippany.  Previously he had worked as an engineer for Cheeseboro Ponds in NY and Kasam in Paterson.

 

David enjoyed golfing and traveling.  He especially loved going to his grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

 

He’s predeceased by his daughter Marci Karbane (d. 1994), his sister Phyllis Bob and his parents Milton and Sylvia (Mintz) Karbane.

 

Surviving is his loving wife of 62 years, Roslyn (Goldberg) Karbane, his daughter Lisa (Randy) Cohen of Monroe Twp. and Amy Blackwell of Orlando, FL; his five beloved grandchildren Joshua and Zachary Cohen, and Steven, Mitchell and Marissa Smith; and his great grandson Beckett.

 

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 12th, 10:45 am, at Abraham & Sarah Chapel at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus.  Burial will follow in the Beth El part of the cemetery.  Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ 08850.  You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
