Daniel Recine

Daniel Recine, formerly of Edison, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023 at Care One in East Brunswick after a 4 year battle with ALS Disease.  He was 68.  His son Daniel was by his side. Born and raised in New Brunswick, he lived in Edison for 30 years.  He eventually moved to Monroe Twp and has resided in East Brunswick since 2020.

Dan enjoyed taking pictures of his grandchildren, his Harley Davidson motorcycle and rooting for the Raiders and Yankees. Dan was very passionate in his Christianity faith.

Dan worked for Multi Flow Dispensers in Carteret for 19 years.  He most recently worked for Home Depot in South Brunswick.

He’s predeceased by his parents Chester and Marie (Jackovino) Recine; his sister Michele and his twin brother Donald.

Surviving are his son Daniel Recine, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth of Monroe Twp., his step-daughter Tara Cavico-Silva and her husband Rodney of Piscataway, his step-son Stephen Cavico and his wife Lisa of Brick, his brother John Recine of Edison; his five grandchildren Danny and Vinny Recine, Jacey and Lucas Silva and Diana Cavico; 6 nieces & nephews and his former wife and caregiver Jacqueline Recine of Whiting, NJ
