Dalal Jebeili, a cherished mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on September 21,2024, at the age of 77. Born on June 8, 1947, Dalal dedicated her life to nurturing and uplifting her family, embodying the true essence of love and dedication.
In 1991, Dalal embarked on a new journey. Through her tireless efforts, she laid the foundation for a loving home where laughter and joy flourished. Dalal had an extraordinary ability to bring people together; she loved hosting family gatherings, where the aroma of her cooking filled the air, enveloping everyone in warmth and comfort. A masterful entertainer, she spent countless evenings playing card games, creating treasured memories that will be cherished forever.
Dalal’s heart was expansive, filled with love for each member of her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Christine Attal (John) of South River, and her son, Philippe Jebeili (Katherine) of Spain. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly through her grandchildren: Elie, Philippe, Christopher, Peter Attal, and Anthony, Linda, and Bella Jebeili, who were the apples of her eye.
Dalal is also lovingly remembered by her sisters: Nadia Daoud (John) of Lebanon, Wedad Jalabian of Colorado, and Samira Skjaerbeak of Denmark , Najah Obaji (Raymond) of Sweden, and her brother Tony Orfali (Leila) of Sweden. She embraced her role as a sister with kindness and compassion, solidifying bonds that were unbreakable.
She was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Fouad Jebeili, who left this world in 2001. Their enduring love is a testament to the lifetime of happiness they shared together.
Dalal Jebeili's legacy of love, family, and joy will linger in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will forever reside in the memories and hearts she touched throughout her remarkable life.
A Funeral Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, September 25th, 11:00 am at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, 526 Easton Avenue, Somerset Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. A Visitation for family and friends will be held before the mass starting at 10:00 am at St. Sharbel’s.
