Curt Singer, a resident of East Brunswick, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Sunrise of East Brunswick. He was 67 years old. Born in Brooklyn, Curt spent most of his life in East Brunswick.
Curt was a proud member of the Director’s Guild of America and recently worked as an associate director for NBC.
Film and music were Curt’s passion, especially the Grateful Dead. He loved attending the Philly Folk Music Festival and collecting musical instruments. He was also a generous donor to several charitable foundations. Curt cherished his memories growing up with his cousins, Pammy, Seth, and Robbie.
He’s predeceased by his father Paul Singer.
Curt is survived by his longtime partner, Carole Sgambati; his mother, Barbara Singer of East Brunswick; his brother, Mendel Singer (Chavi) of Cleveland, Ohio; his step-daughter, Denise Dworkin (Chris) of Howell; his step-son, Michael Sgambati of Secaucus; his grandchildren, Corey (Linny), Nicole (Andrew), Jessica, and Francesca (James); his great-grandchildren, Briggs and Quinn; his nieces and nephews, Zack, Peninah, Aryeh, Akiva, Levi, Noam, Elazar and Kayla; and cousins.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, February 19th, from 11:00 – 2:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
