Chester “CJ” Pardun III, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at his home in Milltown surrounded by his loving family and devoted caregiver. He was 74 years old.
He was a lifelong resident of Milltown and North Brunswick. He was a 1970 graduate of New Brunswick High School and attended Campbell College In North Carolina.
Before retiring, CJ worked in the Purchasing Department for Middlesex County. Previously he worked with CJ Pardun & Sons Construction, Deer Brook Village, and also established his own business, Allentown Wine & Liquors.
CJ’s love for music was always enjoyed at many gatherings of family and friends. He loved spending his summers at the Jersey Shore and the Pardun Pool. He will be remembered for chatting with neighbors and walking his dog around his beloved neighborhood with a smile on his face.
He is predeceased by his parents, Chester J. Pardun Jr. and Irene (Waltz) Pardun.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50+ years, Dorene (Grieco) Pardun; his son Leigh Pardun and Courtney Walters of Chesterfield, VA; his daughter Victoria Gillespie and her husband John of Monroe Twp; his grandson Nicholas and soon to arrive granddaughter; his brother William Pardun and wife Janice of Jefferson, VA; his sister Laura Pardun of Milltown; many nieces and nephews; and his caregiver Agness Manda.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, March 25th, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 26th at the funeral home, feel free to arrive early for additional visitation at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
